A Chesapeake Bay Vacation

Welcome to the Magical Bay Home, located in a waterfront bay side community of 15 homes.

Beautiful sunrises and panoramic Chesapeake bay view’s surround you in this 3 bedrooms, 2 full bath, vacation bay front rental home (sleeps eight).

The home sits on hill overlooking a semi-private sandy beach, just a

few steps away, and the landscaping is absolutely beautiful.

It is located in Southern Maryland’s Western shore, only 45 min from

Washington, D.C & Annapolis, MD.

We live in our house six months of the year, so it not like your normal rental.

It lives like a primary home. It is beautifully decorated with lots of art work

and oriental carpets and all the beds, sofas and chairs are very comfortable.

You will love watching beautiful sunrises over the expansive view of the

bay (over 8 miles in width) or the eagles and osprey hawks dive into the

water to capture their prey and the crab boats as they slowly move up

the Chesapeake.  This a magical place, is a photographer’s dream come true.

You will have so much fun catching fish and crabs off our 450 pier, walking

for miles on our sandy beach or on trails in deeply wooded land that

borders our property or enjoying the beach.

Your children will also enjoy the swing set we have in the back of the house.

We have a little something for everyone where memories of a lifetime are made!

ABOUT

ABOUT

The master bedroom is a wall of glass, so waking up to see the morning sunrises is breath taking.

We love watching the cruise ships and other large vessels that travel the bay, especially at night.

The house has two decks, offering a gas grill on our front bay deck with a table and chairs for 8.  It is hard to get off this deck because of the magnificent bay views, but the back deck is perfect for morning coffee and listening to the morning chatter of the birds.  Our home and community is truly magical.  Wonderful memories are made here and we hope you will return over the years, as most of our clients come back for another visit.

For the history lovers...

Enjoy hunting for fossils from the Miocene era, including shark teeth and various shells.  Searching is not only fun, but educational for the entire family.  We are one of the few places in the world where you can find these shells.  The Chesapeake also offers up lots of old sea glass so be sure to be on the look out.

Also, this area is rich in colonial history so be sure to study its history before arriving or venture to a local museum.  If you would like to see more sites, we are only 45-60 minutes to all the historical sites of Washington D.C and Annapolis, Maryland!

For the beach goers..

Enjoy 3,000 miles of shore line to walk or have dinner on our semi-private beach as we provide you picnic tables, beach chairs and a community charcoal barbecue.   We also have kayaks for rent (for the length of your stay), please inquire at the time of booking.

For a night out on the town..

We have fabulous seafood restaurants within minutes of the house or travel 14 miles to the charming town of Solomon’s Island.

For the cozy colder evenings inside..

Watch a cracking wood fire in our floor to ceiling stone fireplace or curl up with a great book on our porch overlooking the bay.

REVIEWS

GUEST REVIEWS

“We had a girl's getaway here for my 30th birthday, and the experience far exceeded our expectations. The house was beautiful and was just steps from a private beach, there are clear views of the bay from almost every corner of the house, and I fell asleep to a 180 degree view of the bay and the sounds of the surf in the master bedroom. Its minutes from Solomon's Island and has something for everyone. The owners are extremely helpful and courteous. I'd highly recommend it and will come back again!”
